Greed. It's the name of the game. Politicians do it. Businesses do it. Apple certainly does. They take 30% of every purchase on the app store, regardless of how big your business is. Try to circumvent it and you're out. Epic Games has the billions of dollars required to take on a tech giant, and if things pan out right we might be seeing some historic anti-trust suits in the near future.
